Mr. Brown’s practice includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, as well as client counseling. He has prosecuted thousands of patent applications in various electrical, computer and mechanical technologies. Mr. Brown has also successfully defended patents in both ex parte and inter partes reexamination.Mr. Brown’s practice also extends to filing PCT applications and managing patent applications before various foreign patent offices.
Mr. Brown has been involved in the prosecution of patents for over twenty years. He began his career in the patent field as an Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he examined patent applications in the electrical and computer arts for eight years. Prior to joining the U.S.P.T.O., Mr. Brown began his professional career working as a Test Engineer for General Motors, where he tested compressors.
